Join Case Competitions for Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Majors
Every semester there are several opportunities to participate in various analytics competitions. Some are sponsored by other universities or companies, such as Google, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Apple. Competitions provide students with opportunities to analyze data sets and present their findings to panels of judges. Students receive feedback and prizes to support their efforts.

Accounting Analytics Club
The primary objective of the Accounting Analytics Club is to promote and support students wanting to pursue accounting analytics related careers. Club membership is open to any UT Dallas student.
Association for Information Systems (AIS) Student Chapter at UTD
The mission of the AIS Student Chapter at UT Dallas is to promote the study and utilization of information systems through programs of professional development, social networking and community development. The club is part of a national organization under the formal umbrella of AIS. The club hosts regular meetings and events throughout the year for students to learn about various technology topics and enhance their professional skills.
Big Data Club
The mission of the Big Data Club is to promote and encourage students to learn about big data-related activities and careers through networking, workshops, competitions and speaker events. Membership is open to UT Dallas undergraduate and graduate students.
Data Science Club
The Data Science Club strives to be the single focal point of the overall development and growth of UT Dallas students interested in machine learning, data mining and artificial intelligence. This network of students, industry professionals, faculty and companies helps students keep up-to-date with the latest trends and industry best practices, fine-tune their technical and professional skills and test themselves through flagship data science competitions. The Intelligence Analytics Society advances student members’ professional goals in the domains of business intelligence and analytics. Membership is open to all undergraduate and graduate students at UT Dallas.
Marketing Analytics Club
The Marketing Analytics Club aims to help students get a firsthand opportunity to network with industry experts on the latest technologies and best practices in the field of marketing research, customer insights, social media marketing insights, customer relationship management and web analytics. MAC intends to bring faculty, industry experts and students together to provide an enriching experience for future job seekers in the marketing profession.
Women in Technology and Business (WITB)
Women in Technology and Business is a professional organization to support and empower women in technology and business fields and provide them with resources to be successful. In addition, WITB aims to break down the stereotypes surrounding technology and business fields, expose more people to how technology can impact their career path and encourage more women to join technology fields.
