As per the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH) employment of computer and information occupations are projected to grow and add new jobs. The demand for workers in these occupations will be driven by the continuing need for businesses and other organizations to adopt and utilize the latest technologies.
Information Technology and Systems professionals work in all industries such as banking and finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, government and public service, health care and transportation.

Analysts study business problems and implement systems to solve them.
Chief information officers are senior executives responsible for computer and information-processing operations within their organizations.
Consultants analyze problems and change business processes.
Application developers develop software to gather and store data.
Data analysts extract and analyze organizational data.
Project leaders organize a team of analysts, programmers, and others to create innovative solutions.
