Technology Associate Consultant, SAP

With a background in SAP consulting, I wanted to pursue a master’s program that provided the right blend of SAP and management courses. The Information Technology and Management program at UT Dallas is one such program that offers the dedicated Enterprise Systems track with SAP courses and diverse options for electives. The program also allows you to achieve a graduate certificate in Enterprise Systems and an associate-level TS410 certification to grow as an SAP consultant.

The SAP-related courses in the Enterprise Systems track allowed me to strengthen my knowledge and upskill in the technical and functional aspects of various SAP ERP modules and products. The TS410 certification was also a unique and rigorous knowledge supplementing experience to understand fundamental business processes and their integration points using SAP S/4 HANA.

The certifications have provided exponential growth to my career and helped me land enriching internships and full-time opportunities. Courses like MIS 6332: ERP: Configurations and Implementations with SAP and ACCT 6338: Accounting Systems Integration and Configuration with SAP have been very helpful in gaining functional skills in SAP consulting during my internships.

Lastly, the info-sessions conducted by SAP Users’ Group were very informative and helped expand my professional network. I want to thank Prof. Lou Thompson for championing the Enterprise Systems track, providing excellent classroom experiences, and great content and networking opportunities.
