The MS ITM Program at JSOM has been nothing but a rich, transformative experience for my career and life. The Enterprise Systems track that I chose is versatile and highly structured with multiple tracks within SAP ERP and offers a perfect combination of advanced curriculum and in-depth application of learning. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions of my life, since it gave me a very strong foundation for my current job as an SAP consultant in logistics space, as well as offered me a valuable international exposure in a world-class, multi-cultural, vibrant and intellectually stimulating classroom environment, with students across all experience levels, and with faculty that were deeply invested in individual success and that provided me tools to continuously learn and succeed.

I earned the Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Management Systems, SAS Institute/UT Dallas Graduate Certificate In Data Mining And Business Intelligence, as well as UT Dallas Student Information Security Awareness Certificate having completed courses in the subjects, that have all allowed me to comfortably transition into highly integrated, application-based client projects outside the university. I also opted for the coveted SAP Certification for Integration of Business Systems, that UT Dallas facilitates with SAP University Alliances, which spans the whole spectrum of SAP Enterprise Planning architecture and offers ERP students a distinction on their resumes.

Prof. Thompson took utmost efforts to prepare the students for this rigorous and challenging certification examination, closely working with each one of us. I was awarded SAP Student Recognition Award having taken the course and elated to have earned it with hard work, but not without the expert guidance of Prof. Thompson. The program also facilitates active participation in SAP Users’ Group and Association of IT Professionals (AITP) that are great channels for grooming students to become contributing individuals to the professional communities in the corporate world.

Prof. Thouin is a very encouraging mentor and taught us great leadership skills, and gave me a wonderful opportunity to serve on the AITP. I cannot recommend this program enough to any aspiring student who aims to make IT and management his or her career path, and who has a vision to join the upper echelons of the business world and become a distinguished contributor to the society.
