Our CIS Tech program at UT Dallas aims to prepare you and your résumé for the job market.
The Jindal School of Management offers opportunities for students to graduate with documented and relevant work experience on their résumés. Our curriculum requires an approved internship in IT, more than 100-hours of community engagement through UTDserv, and applied learning through the UTDsolv senior capstone project.
These experiences outside the classroom will bolster your confidence during interviews and distinguish you in a competitive job market.

Take an accelerated path to obtaining your master’s degree through the Fast-Track program.
We know your time is valuable, which is why we offer the Fast-Track program to help you take your education in IT to the next stage. Our upper-level undergraduates can include master’s level courses in their undergraduate degree plan.
Qualified students gain automatic admission to graduate school at UT Dallas. At the Jindal School, we have several graduate degrees from which to choose. Undergraduate CIS Tech students often consider the Master’s in Information Technology Management (MS ITM), Master’s in Business Analytics (MS BUAN) or MBA. The Fast Track program is designed to accelerate your education so that you can earn both degrees — bachelor’s and master’s — in approximately five years of full-time study.
