With a background in finance from my undergraduate studies, I come from a non-technical space, but that hasn’t stopped me from delving deep into the world of data. Hello Everyone! I am Nurul, a mature MSBA flex student at UTD who started his journey this Spring, 2025. I did my first Masters in Banking and Finance in the UK prior to 2010. Then, I became a Certified Credit Analyst (CCP) in 2016, followed by my latest postgrad diploma in Business Analytics in 2023 from Humber College, Canada, where I comprehended different Data Analytics Programming tools and Visualizations. Although I grew up in London (England) and subsequently settled in Toronto (Canada), my parental origin is in South Asia (India and Bangladesh). I also lived in Dubai for over 5 years as a banker. Travelling across multiple countries and mingling with diverse cultures gave me a unique opportunity to interact with a cross-section of both domestic and international students. Hi there! My name’s Saurabh Jadhav, and I come from the metropolitan city of Thane in India also known as the “City of Lakes”! Growing up I always had a knack for science & that eventually led me to getting a bachelor’s degree in physics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. I then worked for different startups across different cities in India for about 4.5 years before choosing to pursue the MSBA&AI program at UT Dallas. My work experience has majorly been within the Ecommerce Industry & that has given me a very strong understanding & knowledge of the same. However, by virtue of not having any solid background in computer science, I don’t have a lot of expertise with programming languages beyond some foundational knowledge of Python, MATLAB & SQL.
