The Bachelor’s in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence prepares students to solve analytics problems embedded in a business context. Empower yourself to seek analytical roles by combining fundamental ideas in economics, finance, information technology, marketing, operations management and statistics with various analytics concepts using a range of tools and programming languages.
The Bachelor’s in Information Technology and Systems (ITS) program is a unique blend of technical and business curriculum. This STEM designated degree program provides students with practical and theoretical training in information technology. Graduates from the program are in high demand because of their diverse technical skill set and their ability to understand how technology affects business processes.
The Master’s in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence program (BUAN) is a 36 semester credit hour STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) designated degree program. This highly-ranked program provides students with the practical and theoretical knowledge needed to pursue careers involving a wide variety of data science, data engineering, and data analytics roles within a number of business domains.
The Master’s in Information Technology and Management (ITM) program is a 36 semester credit hour STEM designated degree program ranked 17th in the US by US News and World Report. The MS ITM degree prepares students for careers as IT professionals working in a variety of industries and roles. The program features a state of the art curriculum, online or class room delivery options, and the ability to complete the degree on a full-time or part time basis.

Hello, my name is Mani Deep Atukuri. I pursued my master’s degree from ITM with a concentration in Enterprise Systems. My journey with SAP began when I worked at my first job with SuccessFactors, which piqued my interest and led me to pursue higher studies in the same field. During my first semester, I took the ERP with SAP course under the guidance of Professor Lou Thompson.
My journey to Masters Degree has been spectacular and memorable. Having my interest in SAP and choosing the UTD ITM program for its versatile curriculum which has an Enterprise Systems track perfectly complimented my skill sets in the SAP Security domain.
UTD’S MSITM program has given me an opportunity to tailor the subjects in the course based on my interest and engage in the student clubs based on affinity to the technology stack. It was an enriching experience learning and working alongside professors, especially in the Enterprise Systems concentration.
After taking a class on information technology for business applications during my sophomore year at UTD, I was intrigued by the power of data in decision-making. The concept of data-driven decision-making was something I had never been exposed to in my other coursework. After just one class, I was inspired to switch my major to Business Analytics. My time in the program has equipped me with valuable skills in problem-solving, data analysis, and critical thinking, enabling me to translate data insights into strategic business decisions effectively. I am confident that the skills I have honed and developed while participating in the program have built a strong foundation for my future career while navigating the dynamic business landscape. The Business Analytics program is also well-equipped with knowledgeable and helpful faculty and staff who are always ready to provide guidance and support students in their pursuit of excellence. Both inside and outside of the classroom, this major offered me several unique opportunities for growth and learning, from engaging in projects with real-world applications to participating in industry-sponsored competitions.

I had my undergraduate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering at the unique University of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria, after which for roughly 6 years, I was privileged to work with OVH Energy, one of the largest indigenous downstream companies in Nigeria.
During my time in UTD’s Business Analytics program, I’ve received invaluable guidance from my professors and advisors, who have been remarkably hands-on throughout my undergraduate journey. The penchant to expand the domain of my knowledge in SAP and Management strategies landed me in UTD. Choosing the ITM Program which has a flexible curriculum perfectly complemented my skill sets. The courses MIS 6319 and 6332 gives hands-on experience both as an SAP end user and a SAP Consultant.
With a background in Banking and no coding experience, the MSBA completely revolutionized my career in information systems. I am now able to utilize my expertise to channel real-world data and platforms that drive business strategic decisions for internal stakeholders and corporate leaders.
